Hers my system specs.
cpu: Amd 2200+ @ 1.5ghx ram: 1 gig video: geforce fx5200 128mb with vista drivers sound: soundblaster live 24 bit internal hard drives: 80gig toshiba, 40gig western digital, 13 gig seagate cd: 1 52x cdrw and no dvd as of yet.
Vista took up almost 9gig of the seagate drive but it works!! I have xp on my 80gig drive and am not upgrading it yet. And my other drive the 40gig has all my backups and other software on it that I can't afford to lose in an upgrade. So the 15gig hard drive recomendation is good for vista. But anything lower than that and you can't install anything else on the driver that vista is on because it leaves very little space for a swap file. -- Just when you thought you had the top of the line system...You find out that you have to upgrade yet again. The pain gasp!! The suffering!! Until Payday!!! :)
